  6. DESCRIPTION

  8. The utility 'rehash' will rebuild internal tables used by MacShell to facilitate the use of special shell variables 'path' and 'manpath'.  When the contents of directories specified by these variables is changed, the tables should be rebuilt to allow new or renamed commands to be found.

  10. The internal tables will be built automatically whenever the path or manpath variables are set or changed, so it is not necessary to use reshash at this time.
